Happy New Year, friends! What are you hoping this new year will bring to you? Today for lunch, we each said 3 things we were looking forward to this year, and I loved the kids’ responses. We had everything from “I’m looking forward to swimming,” to “I’m looking forward to making new friends,” to “I can’t wait to spend time with our neighbors.” I love the simplicity of children, and they are such a blessing to spend time with.
The holiday traditions and recipes were absolutely wonderful, but now my family and I are trying to get back on track with good nutritious recipes. One category that we especially love this time of year is SMOOTHIES! We eat them for breakfasts, snacks, and sometimes dessert.
