I am excited to share with you all this great book series for little girls, Bible Belles! These books are written by a mother who wanted to enable girls to learn about about biblical women and the valuable lessons they can teach us all. The goal of the author “is to create children’s books and devotionals that connect girls with real heroes: positive role models that our daughter and other daughters out there, can look up to.”
My daughter is six years old and was super excited when this series of five books arrived. They are bright colors with lovely illustrations that drew her in right away. As a mother I was looking forward to diving into a series with my daughter that taught her about biblical women and character. These five books follow a 9 year old girl named Rooney Cruz on her adventures where in each book she learns about a different woman of the bible, Hannah, Esther, Abigail, Ruth and Deborah. The author does a great job of tying issues girls face today with a focused lessons in each book about topics of prayer, patience, bravery, loyalty and leadership. The hope is for those girls reading these books increase her identity in Christ as well as gain confidence in experiences and situations she may face.

As a grandma with grandchildren from age 18 to a newborn due in September, (who will be #9), I am always looking for new books to add to my collection of books. They all love books, whether it’s reading them or having someone read them out loud to them. Thank you for offering these adorable books as an addition to my library of books. I just know that they will love them!

I would like to win these books so I can read them to the children in my children’s church group. I think girls would love to hear about the women of the bible, but the boys will benefit as well hearing about strong women.
I would add these to my library to benefit my grandchildren. (Especially my 2 granddaughters.) Number 11 grandchild will be born this week with number 12 coming at the end of June! We love reading books together and I can see this series being part of our “Grandma’s Book Club”.
I would love to give these books to my daughters. Although I didn’t carry them, I was chosen by God himself to be their mommy, and that makes being their mommy even more special.
