About a month ago, we traveled to Charleston, South Carolina – my mother’s mother stems from that region of the country. It was a fantastic trip, and I recommend it to any one. I especially enjoyed the history, the beautiful and well kept homes, the foliage, and of course, those sweet southern drawls – everyone sounds nicer with those. While we were there I picked up this book, Very Charleston by Diana Hollingsworth Gessler, as a gift for my mom. It’s such a cute coffee table book, and a fun way to remember all the sites and lowcountry charm the city has to offer. I stumbled across this page as I am always looking for new décor tips. So if you’re ever looking for that perfect historic exterior paint color – just go for the Charleston Green.
