***I originally posted this recipe 3 years ago, and this is still our family’s favorite cole-slaw recipe. And now that I can’t eat sugar, I substitute it with a couple of squirts of Splenda Zero, and it becomes a delicious, diabetic friendly recipe. And, once again, the kids and I attended our favorite restaurant event of the year, Cow Appreciation Day.***
The original post from 2016:
Chick-fil-A is one of our family’s favorite restaurants. We love the chicken and waffle fries and delicious ice cream. As you can see below, we love their Cow Appreciation Day. Good times!
But most of all, we love the service. The staff there are so respectful, helpful, and courteous.
Recently, we were saddened to hear that Chick-fil-A would no longer be offering their terrific coleslaw. What?!?! But, then soon after, I saw that they were freely offering the recipe on social media that all of their customers could still enjoy it at home. Yep, that seems just like something Chick-fil-A would do.
Last night we made Chick-fil-A coleslaw for a side dish with supper, and it was SUPER. It was easy, light, and refreshing. Give it a try soon with a burger or to lighten up a roast beef dinner. You’ll love it!
