If you haven’t figured out by now, easy and delicious are my favorite types of recipes. My mother, the ultimate time manager, would make this recipe when I was growing up. She would make up a batch and freeze some for later. It’s nice to have in your freezer to pull out when company is coming over or for a gathering when you don’t have much time on your hands.

I’d love to make this, but how many ounces is 1 stick of Cracker Barrel cheddar? I may have to use a different brand. Thanks!

Good morning! Thanks for reading our blog. One stick of Cracker Barrel cheese is approximately 8 ounces. I have never tried to substitute the cheese before, if you do I would definitely recommend sticking with an “extra sharp” cheddar. Checked out your blog, looks like you have some yummy recipes. I will have to try some soon. Have a great day.
