Appetizers, as I’ve said many times before, are just plain fun! Guests always feel special when there is a little something to munch on and sip on as the meal is getting prepared or the gathering is starting.
Do you love avacados? I sure do! They are so tasty, and….so good for you. Whenever the avocados are ripe and on sale, I pay attention. This dip is one of my appetizer favorites and this is true with my family, too.
It’s simple, simple to make and sad to say, it goes in a flash, so when the crowd’s all here, a double batch is stirred up.
Just 4 ingredients…..and…..walla!
Fresh Salsa is a perfect combination with this guacamole! And it’s the perfect time of year to make it. Check out Molly’s recipe here.
- 2 ripe avacadoes, chopped, then smashed
- 2 T salsa (I used Pace Picante sauce)
- 1 package Mrs. Wages guacamole seasoning
- 2 T sour cream or chip dip
- Cilantro, chopped, for garnish (optional)
- Cherry tomato, sliced in half, for garnish
- Mix first four ingredients together and place in a bowl. Serve with some tasty nacho chips. 🙂
