This nice little appetizer is just perfect to serve with tacos, burritos or any type of Mexican dish. It’s also very good all by itself. You might want to double the recipe as it goes in a hurry, so take a big helping if you can. 🙂

I wish you were close by. I need help in my christianity. I have fallen short and need a boost to get me through the remainder of my life. At 85 (today 1/22 I turned 85) and have a strong need to renew my vows to Christ. My name is Donna C. from Houston Tx. and I want you to offer prayer for me that God can renew my soul and help me find the peace I need. I envy you and your family and all the joy and happiness you all share. God Bless You All! AND, yor book and recipes are wonderful and please know that I share both with my only child. She and I live together (both of us very ill) but have a great relationship and together, we both cook and have fun in doing so. Thanks for reading this and keep doing all that God leads you to do.

Hi Donna,
I wish you lived close, too! I would love to talk with you about spiritual things along with life in general. Thank you for reaching out and for your kind words. We are so grateful that our blog and book have touched your life!
On our home page, if you click on “ our inspiration”, you will find “steps to a relationship with Jesus Christ”. Please read it over, grab your Bible and look up the verses. The Lord loves you so much! Just talk to Him as you read over His word.
The Lord loves, forgives and wants to be your best friend, beginning right now and for the rest of your life. I suggest reading His word every day, perhaps starting in the gospel of John. Hopefully your daughter will join in.
I am so sorry to hear that you two are very ill. I will continue praying for you. You have a very loving and caring spirit.
Again, thanks for writing. Please write again.
In Christ’s Abounding love and grace,
Denise
