This easy Autumn snack was quickly thrown together the other day. It was one of those recipes that I “added to it” as I went ;). Ya know what I mean?
A few years ago, Annie had introduced me to a simple and yummy dessert treat that tasted just like s’mores, which of course, I love! I do have a sweet tooth. Annie told me she used Honey Nut Chex, mini marshmallows, and chocolate chips together for an evening dessert (sometimes I will microwave for 10 seconds – for extra gooeyness), when I am craving chocolate. Yum!
As I was making this the other day for the kiddos, I thought adding raisins would make it slightly more healthy, but then I added M&Ms, too – and I’m not sure that helped. It’s kind of like trail mix, right? Either way, this snack or treat is simple, and works conveniently for an on-the-go snack, too. Happy Fall y’all!
- 1 box of Honey Nut Chex
- 1½ c. raisins
- 1-1/2 c. mini marshmallows
- ¾ c. Fall M&Ms
- Combine Chex, raisins, marshmallows, and M&Ms in a large bowl.
- Mix together, and divide into bowls or baggies.
