Easy Biscuits and Gravy
Ahhh, Fall is officially here, and so is the sweater weather to go along with it. Yay! We’ve brought out our pumpkin spice fall candles and I just made the first pumpkin pie of the season. Most of the crops are nearly dried out by now. Those combines are goin’… football season is here. Acorns are dropping, and the leaves are turning. I hope you will stop and embrace the joys of this comforting autumn season.
Speaking of comfort – I have a recipe that is so easy and simple. My brother shared it with me years ago. We had it for breakfast while vacationing in northern Minnesota. Impressed by his culinary skills, biscuits and gravy has continued on. I think it’s the epitome of comfort food – and just 4 ingredients! The whole family loves it and equally look forward to it. It’s one of those “staple recipes”.
As we step into the Fall season, I hope this meal is just the ticket for you, too. We often have this for supper instead of breakfast. Garnish with fresh fruit. The kids really think it’s fun having breakfast for supper 🙂 Enjoy!
