Looking for simple, yet patriotic dish for the Fourth of July? Look no further! A healthy fruit platter to share with your family and friends. One thing that I love about this flag dessert is you can personalize it with your own red and white favorites. For this particular platter I used strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and white chocolate dipped pretzels. I enjoy the salty/sweet taste the pretzels give.
Other ideas for your American flag dessert are: red cherries, cubed watermelon. You could also substitute sliced bananas or cubed white cheese for the dipped pretzels or do a mixture of all the above. Whatever are your favorites!
So easy, so fun and also delicious. The kids enjoyed making the fruit platter as much as they did eating it.
