Easy Pumpkin Centerpiece

It’s that time of year again when the season is changing.  The leaves are covering the backyard.  The temperature is cooler and I am enjoying  hot coffee and tea more often.  Why is the smell of cinnamon and nutmeg so cozy?  I get into fall and the decorations.  I like to try new things.  This year I got white, orange, and striped pumpkins.  I purchased one can of gold spray paint and another black chalkboard spray paint for decorating the pumpkins.  This metal pumpkin I purchased last year from our local Ed & Eva’s shop – then I just added orange and black tulle, some led battery operated lights, and a battery operated candle (I had to be on the safe side with small children in the home).  I put down a burlap table runner (found at a craft store like JoAnn’s), then I simply placed 5-6 pumpkins (various shapes, sizes and colors) within.  I used books for stacking and a cake platter to have several different heights.  My four year old loves to turn on the lights and the candle every night!
