Everyone in the family LOVES this rendition of fruit salsa. Honestly, the combination of the fruit in this recipe, along with the super easy homemade cinnamon tortilla chips places this recipe at the very top of my sweet appetizer list. AND…..it’s so, so easy to make!!

Fruit Salsa with Homemade Cinnamon Chips

Delicious and super-easy sweet appetizer. All your guests will come back for seconds and thirds…:)

Ingredients

  • 1 6 oz. pkg frozen peaches
  • 1 orange, chopped
  • 1 C fresh strawberries, roughly chopped
  • 1 8 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • bag flour tortillas
  • 4 oz butter, melted
  • 1-2 tbsp cinnamon, to sprinkle
  • 4-6 tbsp sugar, to sprinkle

Instructions

  • For the salsa:
    Place all fruit and juice in the blender and blend just until mixed well. You'll still want some chunks. Refrigerate until chilled through.
    For the flour tortilla chips:
    Cut all the flour tortillas into wedges and place on large cookie sheet.
    Brush melted butter onto each wedge.
    Sprinkle sugar, then cinnamon atop each wedge.
    Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool before serving
