Giveaway! Christ is King Apparel

Hi friends! We have a fun giveaway that starts today, January 26th. Check out this awesome shirt from Christ is King Apparel. Isn’t it great?

Recently, as I’ve been so concerned about how unsettled our world is. And when I pray about what my response should be at this time, I feel that the Lord keeps directly me back, over and over and over to his word. I think of these verses:

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Hebrews 4:12

“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever

Isaiah 40:8

I keep remembering that I can turn to God’s word for comfort, encouragement, and strength. I am falling more deeply in love with my Bible than ever before.

So, I was so excited when I learned about a new company called Christ is King Apparel. The owner, Megan, is from Iowa, just like our family.

I was thrilled to see these wonderful words that immediately take my mind to God’s promises printed on these adorable clothes. Aren’t these great?

I wanted to learn more about this new company, so this week I reached out to the owner.

Tell us a little bit about yourself. How did you get started?
I started this small business about a month ago, but I have felt called to start it for a while now. I have always been a creative person; it is my way of relaxing. By day I am an Interior Designer for a commercial company and by night I craft. I got married to my best friend and biggest supporter, JJ, in October. Once we settled down after our wedding festivities I knew it was time to start this business and to follow God’s calling for me. It has been one of the most rewarding months of my life!

What compels you to place the word of God on your merchandise?
I knew that I could have done just any sort of designs on my apparel, but I wanted my items to be a way for not only me to share God’s word, but for others as well. Some of my designs are more literal than others, but I want it to be a conversation starter between people to share the message or Bible verse that is on the shirt.

What are some of your hopes and dreams for Christ is King Apparel? In just the short month since my business started, I have been able to meet so many lovely people and we have gotten to talk about our faith. I hope to continue to make relationships and to grow in my faith while doing so.

Thank you so much for your encouraging words and products, Megan!

GIVEAWAY!

Ok, and now the fun part! Megan is giving one lucky (or I should say blessed) winner their choice of one of her shirts. You can check out her whole collection here. To enter, just leave a comment on this post. You can just say “Hi!” or tell us what is your current favorite verse or which design you’d choose if you win. To gain additional entries, check head over to our instagram and facebook and enter there as well. (We will draw a winner on Wednesday, February 3rd).

P.S. Wouldn’t Christ is King items be great Valentine’s gifts? They have so much deeper meaning than candy and last so much longer.
