Summer and Winter and Springtime and Harvest
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love
I am reminded of our Lord’s great faithfulness this time of year. We plant and we wait. The sprouts appear and soon we can row the crop. The summer steam heat causes the plants to grow, sometimes inches in one day. Then come the fall rains. We wonder if we’ll have opportunity to harvest. The wind and Indian Summer sun come and dry out the hillsides and away we go to gather the grain.
Thank you, Father, for your constant faithfulness to us.
