Are you (like me) looking to eat fewer carbs, but are you unwilling to give up flavorful food? Then you’ll love this no-carb, flavor packed recipe… the crustless egg quiche. This would also be an awesome addition to Easter Dinner for those who want to eat something nutritious, yet delicious for Easter.
We love this recipe and eat it for all three types of meals at our house. It starts with a basic recipe of eggs and heavy cream-skip the milk in this recipe because it has too many carbs. And then make it your own with delicious meat, cheese, and veggie add-ins. The add-in ideas are endless. Here’s a few of our favorites:
- Cheddar and Canadian bacon
- Swiss cheese and ham
- Salsa, chorizo, and peppers
- Bacon, caramelized onions, and gouda
- Broccoli and Cheddar
- All veggies- onions, bell peppers, and jalapenos
Since my kiddos don’t have to worry about carb intake, I serve this with whole-grain toast for them.
This is a great (S) recipe if you are following the Trim Healthy Mama eating plan.
