Have you started transitioning over to fall yet? My mind keeps flip flopping between pumpkins and apples to watermelon and strawberries. The gorgeous 80 degree weather we are having has put a halt to me pulling out the fall decor.
Luckily, last week we had a few chillier days that gave off the feeling of fall. I managed to pull out two pieces of decor and bake this delicious Apple Cinnamon Bread. 🍎
This bread is a perfect fall treat. The smell of the apples and cinnamon baking fills the house, and the bread tastes amazing. (I prefer mine warm right out of the oven). Its got a little cinnamon sugar crunch on the top and the middle is super moist, thanks to the diced apples layered inside.
Whether autumn-like weather has reached your neck of the woods yet or not, be sure to add this recipe (and other favorites listed below) to your upcoming baking list!
- ½ cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1½ tsp ground cinnamon

- Pour remaining batter next.
- Top with remaining apples and remaining cinnamon/brown sugar mixture and pat topping with the back of a spoon
- Bake for approx. 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes gout clean.
