Ok. Are you ready for your life to change? In a really good way? Today I’m going to show you how I make my homemade latte.
Now, you may be wondering if you will need a very expensive coffee maker to make these at home. And the answer is, “No!”
You will only need a microwave and this:
Here is what you do:
While you are brewing your coffee to your preference in your regular coffee pot, fill the mason jar with about 1/2 cup of milk. Any variety is fine. (I use skim.)
Microwave the jar (without the lid!!) for one minute.
Using an oven mitt, remove the jar from microwave. Screw the lid on very tight.
Cover with a towel and shake as vigorously as you can for about one minute. (a mini-workout for your triceps)
Pour yourself a cup of the brewed coffee.
If you’d like to add a little sweetness and flavoring, you could stir in a teaspoon of something like this:
Or if you are having a really healthy morning, you could stir in a teaspoon of this:
Then carefully open the mason jar, and pour the delightful frothy milk on top.
Enjoy!
See, wasn’t that easy? You didn’t even have to drive to Starbucks or buy a ridiculously expensive coffee machine to have this luxury everyday at home.
