The fresh ingredients are starting to arrive at the grocery store and we’ve even managed to get a few of our own fresh foods here on the farm. Last week I posted the recipe for my version of the Olive Garden house salad and today I am posting a perfect match for the salad…homemade Italian Dressing.
Its simple to make and adds just enough light flavor to the salad it’s hard to resist.

Homemade Italian Dressing
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup & 2 Tbs white distilled vinegar
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 Tbs mayonnaise
- 1 0.7 oz packet Italian dressing mix
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients together and mix well. Refrigerate.
- Shake/mix well before serving. Enjoy!
