Homemade Turtles

Are you a chocolate person or a caramel person?  Or perhaps you are both! My husband is a milk chocolate person.  My daughter is a caramel person.  My son is a vanilla person.  I think I must be both – definitely once pecans are added! 

Pecans get me thinking about the upcoming holidays – like Pecan Pie, Pecan rolls, and Candied Pecans – more rustic sweet favorites  I always enjoy this time of year.  These Turtles are decadent, rich, and have the caramel gooeyness that is easy to please.  I thought these looked so delicious, I had never made homemade turtles before.  I’ll be adding them to the upcoming holiday baking list – you may too!
