Hi! My name is Ava. I am ten years old and I thought these looked like fun to make and they remind me of Christmas time.
- 12 large marshmallows
- 12 mini candy canes
- 36 mini marshamallows
- 12 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips melted
Here’s how to make these tasty treats:
1. Put chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and melt – for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
2.Break off the candy cane ends to make them look like a u shaped candy cane handle.
3.Lay out the jumbo marshmallows on parchment paper.
4. Gently press the u shaped candy cane into the marshmallow.
5.Then dip the marshmallow with the candy cane into the melted chocolate.
6.Cut the mini marshmallows into fourths and sprinkle them on top of the hot coco cup. You can use as many hot cocoa marshmallows as you would like!
7.Finally, grab a small sized baggie and put the leftover candy canes stems in to make crushed candy canes. Then sprinkle them on top!
8.Last but not least put the hot cocoa cups in the fridge and let them cool for 5 minutes.
When you are ready to eat them you can put them in your hot chocolate or use them for dessert. Have fun making them! -Ava
