An easy and effective way of making one of my favorite cakes! Always have 2nds. 🙂
Ingredients
  • FOR THE CAKE:
  • 1 white cake mix
  • 1 C shredded coconut
  • ½ C black walnuts
  • 2 t. almond extract
  • 1 t. butter flavoring
  • PATTY'S DECORATOR FROSTING:
  • 1 C Crisco
  • 2 lbs. powdered sugar
  • 1½ t clear vanilla
  • ½ t almond extract
  • ½ C milk
Instructions
  1. Make the cake using box instructions, omitting egg yolks.
  2. Add coconut, walnuts, almond and butter flavorings.
  3. Bake by box instructions.
  4. Cool cake
  5. Frost or decorate with Patty's decorator's frosting
