L-O-V-E

I love holidays.  I love Valentine’s Day (the song of Nat King Cole is now playing in my head).

L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore can

But even better, I am reminded of God’s love for us every second of everyday.  Here are some of my Valentine’s to share with you today:

“Be devoted to one another in brotherly LOVE.  Honor one another about yourselves.” Romans 12:10

“My command is this: LOVE each other as I have LOVED you.” John 15:12

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32

“LOVE must be sincere.  Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.” Romans 12:9

“Greater LOVE has no one than this, that he lay his life for his friends.” John 15:13

“LOVE does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”  1 Corinthians 13:7

“And now these three remain: faith, hope, and LOVE.  But the greatest of these is LOVE.” 1 Corinthians 13:13
