Another hour in our day…..supposedly…as we “fell back” last weekend. The extra hour of light comes in the morning, VERY early in the morning, now.
Our corn harvesters are utilizing every ounce of daylight to get the crops out of the field. For their work, light simply works better than darkness. Efficiency and safety are more evident as they can see clearly to follow the corn rows, navigate through the mud holes and find the needed bolt that just fell to the ground while making an equipment repair.
Jesus said, ” I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12
Our harvesters are getting up before the break of dawn for good reason. Working in the light brings much clarity to their day. Reading the word of God brings light and clarity to our day.
Check out a few bible verses on “light” references (look in your bible index) and underscore a favorite one. It will brighten your day.
