{Light} Southwest Ranch Dressing

It’s the New Year!  How many of you have a resolution?  Judging by all the healthy food pins, exercise pins and motivational pins on Pinterest…I am guessing many of them revolve around becoming healthy in some way or another.
Keeping with the trend of healthy eating in the New Year, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite homemade dressings, Southwest Ranch!  This is a reduced fat and reduced calorie dressing with all the creaminess and bold flavors as the regular version.  It’s has 5 simple ingredients: mayo, plain greek yogurt (gotta have that protein), ranch seasoning, taco seasoning (get a homemade version here) and skim milk.

Simple and delicious…perfect to top your next salad or wrap with!


Light Southwest Ranch Dressing

Creamy and flavorful healthy dressing
Ingredients
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • ⅔ cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Tbs Ranch seasoning
  • 1 Tbs Taco Seasoning
  • 1-2 Tbs Skim Milk (to get desired consistency) optional
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients except milk and mix well.
  2. If desired stir in milk, 1 Tbs at a time to desired consistency.
  3. Store in sealed container for 7-10 days in the refrigerator
