The month of March is finally upon us!
These fun treats seemed just the right snack for us – colorful, easy, and ready for Spring! My kids love to “hunt” for the charms amidst the gooeyness and talk about which one is their favorite and why. Lucky Charms was my top pick as a kid, and admittedly, still is today 😉
With the soon change from Winter to Spring, I am gearing up for much more sunshine and rainbows. All of the animals that have been hibernating, suddenly perk up from their sleep. Robins roam through the grass looking for those fresh worms after the rain. Little chirps and peeps rise early in the mornings and stay out later as dusk settles in. Green grass arrives after months of brown and deadness. Lovely buds appear and keep us anticipating on what beauty will soon take place.
Then soon after Spring, comes Easter, another reason for hope in our lives. We are reminded of the miracle of Christ, and how he has sacrificed his life for ours. Jesus gives us hope. So much hope. All hope. No matter what the circumstances (or how much snow that keeps falling in March). God keeps his promises. God still does miracles.
As Romans 8:28 states, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. “
Isn’t that good news?
This message greeted me today, and I want to share with you from Lysa Terkeurst, “God is making something beautiful out of my life.” If any of you are familiar with Lysa she a living testimony of grace. She has continually been remined of Jesus and his love. Even when going through a very recent hardship of breast cancer and divorce. She has made it through, and delightfully, she and her husband have re-married. There is always hope for us in Christ.
“I just have to fix my thoughts on Jesus and He will lead me. I don’t have to understand. I just have to trust, ” says Lysa.
As we go through our motions of the day, be reminded to let Jesus lead you. Trust in him.
Be refreshed with this beautiful song from Hillsong United.
