Hello world!
Planting corn in Iowa has finally begun and our guys are on the run. One is in a planter rig, one is in a sprayer rig and one is hauling seed in the tender. Busy day for Iowa farmers. Beautiful day!
Needed something sweet for my sweet guy, Mr. Farmer.
Needed something quick. Bars are the way to go when in a hurry.
Needed something really good. In building these layers, you’ll soon find our how great these bars are.
Needed some chocolate, laced with coconut, paired with pecans.
Needed a yummy recipe in which I had all ingredients. (This usually doesn’t happen.)

Been climbing some rocks this past week in sunny southern California. 🙂 Some pretty big rocks.
These verses came to mind while climbing:
“Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house ad could not shake it, because it has been well built. But the one who has heard and has not acted accordingly, is like a man who built a house on the ground without any foundation; and the torrent burst against it and immediately it collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great.” Luke 6:47-49
Moral of story: Build your house on the rock…………………..Jesus Christ. With Him, you can get through anything!
Enjoy the delicious bars.
