I made these for the first time yesterday, and I’d thought I would test the outcome by taking them out to the hardworking guys in the field right now.  Needless to say, all 24 meatballs were gone by the time I got home!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 4 T. packed brown sugar
  • 1 t. ground mustard
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 4 t. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 c. Crispix cereal, crushed
  • 3 t. onion powder
  • ½ to 1 t. seasoned salt
  • ½ t. garlic powder
  • ½ t. pepper
  • 3 lbs. ground beef
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combined the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Remove ½ c. topping; set aside. Add the eggs, Worcestershire sauce, cereal, and seasonings to remaining ketchup mixture. Let stand for 5 minutes. Crumble beef over cereal mixture and mix well.
  2. Press meat mixture into 24 muffin cups (about ⅓c. each). Bake at 375 degrees for 18-20 minutes. Drizzle with reserved ketchup mixture; bake 10 minutes longer or until meat is no longer pink.
