Have you tried Naan bread before? It’s becoming quite popular nowadays. I tried it for the first time years ago at an authentic Indian restaurant. It was served warm as an appetizer and sliced into small little pizza slices. I was so impressed.
Fareway now carries Naan as does Costco. Costco has a large pack of about ten mini – Naans. I love this because they are so easy to heat up (about 2-3 minutes in the oven), and then just throw on favorite toppings. We’ve been doing this a lot this summer. So simple so easy.
Some of my favorite toppings are: sliced roma tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, arugula, parmesan, salt and pepper – drizzle with some olive oil – and voila! Dinner is ready. Not only that, but kids love to make their own mini-pizzas. It’s a great way for them to get creative and make something delicious 🙂
