Puppy Chow is always a WIN at our house – and it goes in and out – FAST! Our version of red, white, and blue chow includes this blend of M&M’s and Whoppers. We enjoyed this fun concoction for the 4th of July, and we did again when the US Women’s Soccer team won the World Cup! They are such a talented team and so fun to watch. Go USA!
However, this delicious treat earned the name, “puppy chow” is still a bit mysterious to me. Maybe something to do with the chocolate and peanut butter combo? Or it sounds that much more enticing to children? Perhaps it was made by children? Anyway, it is definitely a fun one to make with children – just make sure to use the brown paper bag method when shaking or your kitchen might be covered in white in a few short seconds.
