Peach Streusel Pie

Who loves peaches?

Peach Streusel Pie

I DO! I REALLY DO! Peach pie is my favorite pie, hands down. Today I’ll share my peach streusel pie with you.

Peach Streusel Pie–slipping the skins off.

Of course you are familiar with streusel, the yummy crumbly topping you can find on pie, muffins, cakes and bars. I didn’t know whether or not to call my pie “Dutch Peach” or Peach “Streusel”. As you can see, “streusel” won out. The main ingredients to streusel are flour, butter and sugar. Who can go wrong with this trio?

I’ll add my secret ingredient and you’ll wish you would’ve made 2! Ha!

In this morning’s quiet time, I read from the book of Genesis. God made all the plants, the trees…all things….for our enjoyment! Even the peach tree! Do you suppose Adam was eating a peach from the garden as he contemplated what to name each animal? 🙂

Every jot and every tittle of the bible is true! Please pick up your bible and read. The stories of the past are so surprising. And the instructions for how the people of God are to live their lives–well–it’s all there. It’s rich. It’s simple: Love God with all your heart and follow Him. Love people and tell them the good news of the Gospel because of God’s love for us!

We hope you enjoy our bible reading schedule for each month. If you don’t have a study bible, get yourself one. The commentary on each page helps the reader understand at a deeper level of the context.

Our life is God’s plan. He is a good, good God and a wonderful Father for those who call on His name, accept His Son as our Savior and follow Him by reading and obeying the His words, the Bible.

Have a great week, friends!
