8 Great Pumpkin Recipes

Pumpkin season is upon us!  It sure is an enjoyable season to watch the colors change and feel the cool crisp air again.  Visiting a nearby pumpkin patch is an annual event for us.  I love to see all the bright and unique variations of pumpkins and gords.  Typically, I find too many that I want to bring home.  The kiddos equally enjoy picking pumpkins, running through the corn maze, face painting, and likely licking their sticky fingers from some caramel apples, too.

We have some really great recipes to share with you: most all of them fall under the “baked goods” category – pies, breads, bars, donuts, muffins, and hot coffee – should put you right in the mood for fall.

Quick question regarding your pumpkin recipes: Are you patting out the excess water from canned / steamed pumpkin? I usually do this, but I see water is being added. Please clarify for us how you prep the pumpkin. Thank you.
May God bless you and your families this holiday season.

    1. Hey Christy! It’s great to hear from you – all the way from Washington! Typically, with the canned pumpkin, I leave as is for the recipe. Wishing you and your family a blessed holiday season! Thanks for reading – Molly
