Something that brings me so much joy is converting favorite dishes into sugar free versions of themselves. Today I made this Quick and Easy Cranberry Sauce and I can’t wait to serve it for Thanksgiving dinner. It turned out to be delicious!
I started with a bag of fresh cranberries. I think cranberries are so beautiful and festive, do you?
I added just a handful of ingredients including the holiday flavors of lemon, orange, and cinnamon, and cooked for about seven minutes…
The sauce thickened beautifully…
And in no time, the sauce was finished and ready for Thanksgiving dinner. I’m not sure if I can wait until Thursday to eat this, so I might add a little to my oatmeal in the morning.
How are your Thanksgiving plans coming along? We can’t wait to celebrate the faithfulness of our God, to take time to commemorate his goodness and peace. Today I spend a little time thinking about these verses:
Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of long ago: I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.
Psalm 100:4-5 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
