Mr. Farmer loves fish. He really enjoys salmon. We don’t have fish often, but when it’s on sale at the grocery store, I stock up.
What an easy and delicious salmon supper this was; and it was so easy to make. From beginning to end the meal prep took about 15 minutes.
I de-skinned the salmon. Heated my fry pan and placed 3 T olive oil in. I decided not to dredge in flour this time to see if I could tell a difference. Honestly, I could not.
Browned up very nicely. Added S and P. Cooked about 13-14 minutes.
While the salmon was finishing off, I got out the ready-made (almost) side-dish. Have you tried this? We love it! This ready-to-serve package has several “cabbage family” veggies in. I tossed it in coleslaw dressing (a staple) and this made for a very tasty and quick salad.
Another side-dish. Peppery whole kernel corn goes well with anything. 🙂
Salmon is finished. I toasted some buns. Threw on a little tartar sauce and lettuce.
And….”SUPPER’S READY!” “COME TO THE TABLE.” (I love to holler when it has to do with good news.) 🙂
