Salty and Sweet Strawberry Smoothie
Well, we are one week into the new year, and hopefully we aren’t losing steam on all of our “let’s eat healthy!” resolutions. To help keep everyone on a healthy track, I thought I’d share a favorite healthy smoothie recipe that we make frequently around here.
This is what we call the Salty and Sweet Strawberry Smoothie, and it is sooooo good! You maybe have never considered salting your smoothie, but it’s truly delicious. If you love salty and sweet combo (think pretzels/chocolate, or popcorn/m&m’s, or peanut butter/jelly), then give this a try.
I make this a lot for my kids, and they act like I’m giving them dessert for lunch. Little do they know that they are devouring a sugar-free, low-fat, high in vitamins healthy drink. Tee hee.
