In the world of simple recipes, this one would be at the top. With only 5 ingredients: butter, brown sugar, flour, oats and cherry pie filling, I would consider this a “pantry recipe”. Meaning, it’s a dish I have the ingredients on hand for at any given time. We may be a little out of the norm over here alway having cherry pie filling siting in our pantry. However, cherry desserts are a favorite of both my husband and my oldest son. So, cherry pie filling in the pantry it is!
This recipe is easy to whip up and everyone enjoys it, especially with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Be sure to give it a try!
