There has been just a bit of chill in the air these past mornings. Whether I am ready or not, fall is well underway. I am often a little slower to move in the mornings when it is chilly outside, I prefer to linger over my hot cup of coffee a little longer. What better reason to linger over coffee than eating some delicious scones along with it?! Scones are fairly simple to make, for years I avoided making them because I assumed they would be difficult. You know, if bakery’s sold scones, then they must be hard, right? ha. These scones have just a touch of sweet to them and if you choose, you can add a simple powdered sugar glaze on the top to make them even more sweet.
Curl up this weekend with a cup of coffee and one of these sweet simple scones. Be sure to check out our other delicious scone recipes linked at the bottom of this page. Enjoy!
