Smoked Salmon Dip

The Super Bowl weekend is upon us, and I just caught a glimpse of which two teams are actually playing on a commercial. Honestly, I don’t stay on top of pro-sports teams, but I know many people who do. I always enjoy a reason to celebrate with family, friends, food, and fun! Appetizers are pretty great for grazing during a long game and hilarious commercials.

The Winter Olympics will also be starting up in a matter of days, and we are eagerly looking forward to watching them during this cold, February month.  It’s pretty impressive to think of all of the countries around the world that come together to play sports that they have been practicing for years.  It’s the elite – the best of the best.

On these chilly, wintery days and nights, let this be the right time to try out some new appetizers – or finger foods – while you’re huddled around the TV.  I like to mix them up – sometimes I like light and refreshing – other instances, I prefer heavy and filling.  This is a light refreshing appetizer with a little bite of horseradish, salty salmon, and creamy cheese.  Enjoy with crackers or bread.  Try out other favorite appetizers here!
