I LOVE STRAWBERRIES
When we first started our blog a few years back, this delightful strawberry dish was one of our most popular recipes. Now when I say popular, I mean it got maybe like 100 hits in a week. Boy, were we excited. (Bless our sweet little hears. Lol)
Our book, The Gathering Table, does not have this particular recipe, but it’s filled with so many good ones. Check it out!

God has been so faithful to us on our journey and thanks for being a part of it! We have enjoyed every minute of it! We are grateful!
Enjoy the repost of this still delicious (and popular) strawberry dessert.
(Original post April 2015)
The past few days here have been exceptionally warm here in Iowa. For me, warmer weather triggers a craving for fresh fruit and all the lovely desserts that go along with it. This Strawberry Pretzel Dessert is one that I’ve been making for years, given to me by my sweet friend, Kay. It reminds me of family dinners and spending time in the back yard with our loved ones Nothing like a piece of strawberry pretzel dessert and a glass of lemonade in the shade of of our breezy shelter out back watching the kids jump hay bales and ride the four wheelers.
The strawberry top makes this dessert refreshing and the candied pretzel crust is just the right amount of sweet and salty. Oh yeah, did I mention the middle layer has cream cheese? Enjoy!
