We really enjoy Valentine’s Day at our house! It is a fun holiday – with LOVE, being it’s origin – how can you not?

Strawberry Twist

This is a super easy and fun snack or dessert you can make with children or grandchildren.  Young children especially seem to really enjoy JELL-O.  JELL-O jigglers were a big hit for me as a kid.  Who remembers those commercials with Bill Cosby?

This is a simple and easy recipe with an enjoyable end result too. 🙂  Have fun making it for your Valentine!

Ingredients
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 pkg. Strawberry JELL-O
  • 2 c. ice cubes
  • 1 c. fresh (or frozen) strawberries, sliced
  • 1 c. Cool Whip
Instructions
  1. Add boiling water to strawberry JELL-O powder in medium bowl; stir for 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Add ice; stir until thicker consistency. Remove any unmelted ice pieces. Stir in strawberries.
  2. Using 4 glasses (or parfait glasses), pour mixture into glasses and refrigerate for 2 hours - or until firm. Top with Cool Whip and garnish with berries.
  3. *Glasses can be angled in muffin tin - for a "twist" appearance when pouring in strawberry JELL-O mixture.
