Well, it’s September, so to me it’s apple season. We love apple cider, apple pie, and apple nachos. One of my favorite things to do is to take favorite seasonal recipes and make them in a healthy, sugar free way. So on Sunday after church, we tried making sugar free apple crumble. The house smelled cinnamony and just like fall while this simmered in the oven. It was delightfully cozy.
While this apple crumble smelled wonderful, it tasted even better! The fall spices and crunchy granola topping paired with this healthy vanilla ice cream was autumn perfection. This was so easy to make, so delicious, and so perfect for fall. Give it a try; you’ll love it!
What are you looking forward to this fall? Our family can’t wait for pumpkin patches, walks in changing leaves, bonfires, reading great books, and of course, more apple crumble!
