The Best Keto BBQ Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 C tomato paste or crushed tomatoes
- 1 C water
- 1/2 C Gentle Sweet or granular erythritol (or 3-4 drops of liquid Splenda)
- 1/3 C apple cider vinegar
- 2 T Worcestershire sauce
- 2 t chili powder
- 1 t garlic powder
- 1/2 salt
- 1/2 celery salt
- 1 t xantham gum optional for a thicker sauce
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, and simmer for 10 minutes. Occasionally stir with a whisk. If using xanthum gum, add during the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
