My mother-in-law, Denise, was the first person who tuned me on to this Ben Carson guy. I have been so intrigued by his books and his ideas. I have read his first book, Gifted Hands. He is a very intellectual, humble, kind, and godly man. He graduated and taught at Johns Hopkins University as director of pediatric neurosurgery. I have also had the opportunity to see him speak publicly. I find him to be an inspiring individual.
This book, Think Big, spells out his philosophy for living:
T – Talents/ time: Recognize as gifts from God
H – Hope for good things and be honest
I – Insight from people and good books
N – Be nice to all people
K – Knowledge: Recognize as the key to living
B – Books: Read them actively
I – In-depth: learning skills: Develop them
G – God: Never get too big for Him
