It’s Finally Today!
Today is the day we 5 here at The Gingham Apron have been waiting for……let’s just say…… for a VERY LONG TIME! Today is the release date for our book,

Celebration!
Yes, today is a BIG CELEBRATION! And with every celebration, I for one, cannot always keep the enthusiasm contained. So, I found some great song and dance music. Granted, the video is a bit dated, but the music and lyrics, no matter how old, are a beautiful reflection of one of my all-time favorite verses. A verse so full of optimism, of hope, of joy, of encouragement and motivation. This song is the epitome of what we here at the Gingham Apron are experiencing today. Sheer joy! Sheer gratitude!

Our book unfolds a year of events that we gals put together to bring our family closer together. We learned many lessons from this book as we together glorify Christ; as we consider others better than ourselves; as we serve others; as we purpose to show His love and do His will. This Midwest Iowa farm family chooses to work at building this family up. Through these chapters we learn that it doesn’t matter whether its a relative, a neighbor or a friend, the principles cross over to our relationships and teach us to think about and serve others.
Our book is a cookbook, an instruction book, an idea book, a devotional full of Scripture, stories and more. The photos show the reader a glimpse of what we did through each event and will spark some ideas within the mind of what you, too, can do for others. Intentionality along with determination will produce the end product. You’ll see firsthand how we came together through purposefull planning to enjoy 12 seasonal events with our family.

What a beautiful book!! Amazing, amazing layout!! Three gatherings per season and each one with a PURPOSE. So much thought and effort (and I’m sure prayer) poured into all the sections. I love that there are personal stories, a devotion, key ideas, applications for the readers, and prayer for each gathering – along with the recipes and perfect pictures, of course. God has blessed you 5 with a ministry and you have been obedient. Well done! Love to all!
