Need a quick and DELICIOUS appetizer for your holiday gathering? I’ve got just the ticket. This shrimp appetizer is so easy and is definitely a crowd-pleaser.
The aroma in the kitchen made the family wonder what in the world was going on in the oven. 🙂
Roasted Garlic Shrimp Appetizer
Ingredients
- 2 lb large, peeled, deveined raw or frozen shrimp
- 1/2 C butter
- 3 T extra virgin olive oil
- 5 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 T Lemon juice
- 1/2 t crushed red pepper
- Salt and Large ground pepper to taste
- 5 T fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In a large skillet, melt butter; add oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, red pepper, salt and pepper. Give it a stir. Then add garlic and saute for 5 to 10 minutes. Turn if needed. Place skillet in the oven and roast for approximately 5 minutes. Serve with toothpicks and cocktail sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley. Delicious!
