Blueberry Muffins

Ingredients

  • ½ c. butter softened
  • c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ c. milk
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 t. baking powder
  • ½ t. salt
  • 2 - 2½ c. fresh blueberries

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Cream together butter and sugar.
  • Add eggs one at a time.
  • In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Blend alternately with the milk.
  • Fold in blueberries.
  • Add paper cups in muffin tins.
  • Pour in batter about ⅔ full.
  • Sprinkle tops of muffins with sugar before baking.
  • Let cool on wire rack.
