Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a small bow, mix together, granulated sugar and orange zest.
Cut each biscuit in half. Using your fingers, roll each biscuit into a rope. Tie each rope into a knot; tucking in the ends underneath the knot. Place on baking sheet.
Brush tops of knots with butter. Dip buttered tops in the sugar orange mixture.
Bake for 8-10 minutes.
While knots are baking, make the orange glaze. Mix confectioner's sugar with orange juice and 1 t. orange zest.
