White Cheddar and Bacon Quiche

Serving Size 8 slices

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon cooked and roughly chopped
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 C milk I use skim
  • 1/4 C minced green onion
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 t pepper
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese grated
  • 1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust I use store-bought

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, onions, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir in the bacon and cheddar.
  • Pour the mixture into the pie crust. Place the pie on a rimmed baking sheet to prevent the filling from spilling over into your oven. (Its so much easier to clean a baking sheet than the bottom of your oven!)
  • Bake until the quiche is golden and set in the center, about 45 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
